BEDROOMS

 

Each of the 20 bedrooms at Glenapp Castle are individually designed, lavishly furnished and equipped to the same high standard. The rooms are priced according to their location in the building, their views and their floor area, with many of the rooms having superb sea views.

 

There are bedrooms on the ground, first and second floors. Some of these rooms are accessible by lift and are more suitable for guests who have difficulty with stairs. The castle has good facilities and access for the disabled.

Glenapp hosts a variety of weddings, from two to 200 guests in a range of private rooms and unique open air venues around the estate and gardens. All of the wedding spaces at the castle have stunning vistas, from the gazebo and the drawing room, through to a grand marquee.

 

The hotel is able to provide you with your own wedding coordinator and accompanying team, completely dedicated to making sure every detail of your wedding goes according to plan. There are so many ways in which they can help to make your wedding both personal and extraordinary. The team will be on hand to help with the important essentials such as the cake, the flowers, transport requirements and photographer.

 

Whether dancing to a ceilidh band in a marquee on the lawn or mingling and sharing stories in the elegant drawing room, Glenapp has the most special atmosphere.

 

ACTIVITIES

 

South Ayrshire, Dumfries, and Galloway are full of surprises for Glenapp Castle's guests. The beautiful isles off the west coast of Scotland, with their whisky distilleries and wildlife, are there to be discovered and accessible by the castle's boat. On the mainland, the history of the region can be seen through its ancient monuments and castles, while the local traditions are celebrated in the many music and arts festivals and country shows.
